There's no such thing as too much denim.
When it comes to denim and chambray in your outfit, it definitely shouldn't just stop at your jeans. Right now we've got a stack of new arrivals that do denim in more ways than 1 in the form of cut-out back detailing, off the shoulder, frayed denim, high necklines, retro jackets, distressing and more!So now the big question is - how do you do your denim? We've been getting inspired from the best of the best international streetstylers to find out what is hot not only on the runway but also off. Here are a few of our favourite denim moments and why:
Double Denim
Double denim is always double the fun! Be a little daring and mix up your textures, colours or prints and add another layer to your outfit to make it a little more fashion forward and a little less 80s.
Smart Casual
A denim button up shirt is great for when you're unsure of the dress code or if you need to go day to night quickly. Wear it open over the top of a plain tee for a more laid back feel or bring it back to smart casual quick-smart by buttoning it up all the way to the top and pairing it with a pair of beige chinos or tapered shorts.
Meet Chambray
Like the idea of double denim but have a fear of looking a little like Justin and Britney circa 2001? Then you need to add some chambray into your life - the lighter and more subtle (yet still very cool!) version of denim.
The LDD
Introducing the summery version of the LBD - the Little Denim Dress! This all-year round favourite can be dressed up, dressed down, worn as is in the Summer heat or layered up in Winter. Perfect for Sunday Drinks, a day on boat, a garden party or a beachside weekend away!
Borrow Your Denim
Another great thing about Denim is most of the great classic pieces are unisex, making it oh so easy to borrow your brothers Denim Jacket, your sister's Skinny Jeans or your other-halfs Denim Shirt!
